I Stayed At The Anaheim Hotel: Here Are My Thoughts

The main entrance of The Anaheim Hotel—there’s was always a staff member there to smile and greet us!
Location, location, location! The Anaheim Hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the entrance gates of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. It took my sister and me only 8 minutes to get to the security line! That means you can easily stroll over in the morning without worrying about shuttles or long drives. I especially loved how easy it was to head back for a quick midday rest before going back for fireworks at night.
Trust me, when you’ve been walking all day, being that close to your hotel feels like magic!
The Rooms 🛏️✨
The double vanity is so helpful!
We stayed in a double king room, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The space was bright and airy, thanks to a big, beautiful window that let in tons of natural light. The mid-century modern furniture gave the room a stylish touch, while still feeling warm and comfortable.
The beds and pillows were incredibly cozy, which made it easy to rest and recharge after long park days. There was also plenty of storage—enough space for me, my sister, and our four suitcases without feeling cramped.
The bathroom wasn’t anything overly fancy, but it had good water pressure (a must after long days at Disneyland) and the double vanity was a total lifesaver for two people getting ready at the same time.
A couple of things to note: we were a little short on outlets, which made charging multiple devices a bit tricky. The room didn’t have a microwave, but it did have a mini fridge, which was perfect for storing drinks and snacks. Overall, it was comfortable, functional, and gave us everything we needed for a great stay.

Friendliness of the Staff 💛
Another highlight of my stay was the amazing staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone I interacted with was warm, welcoming, and helpful. One night we realized we needed extra pillows, and within minutes they were delivered right to our room—no fuss, no waiting. Plus, our room was always clean when we came back from the parks (which isn’t always a given these days)!
It’s those little thoughtful moments that really make a hotel feel like home away from home.

Vibes of the Hotel 🌴☀️
The vibes at the hotel were 10/10!
Walking around the property, you can’t help but feel like you’re officially on vacation. The Anaheim Hotel has such a relaxing, tropical atmosphere, with lush plants and greenery everywhere you look. It feels like a little oasis tucked right next to the parks. After a long day filled with rides, churros, and character meet-and-greets, coming back to the calm, palm-filled pathways was the perfect way to wind down.
The hotel lobby and bar was such a cute vibe, and there was always fresh lemon water which we loved!

Gym if you want to sneak in a workout.
Ice machines for keeping drinks cold or packing your cooler for park days.
Having all these options right at your fingertips makes your stay stress-free and so much more enjoyable.

Overall, I had such a great experience at The Anaheim Hotel. Between the unbeatable location, the thoughtful and friendly staff, the beautiful tropical atmosphere, and the convenient amenities, it really made my Disneyland trip that much better. It’s a hotel that balances comfort and vacation vibes, and I would absolutely stay here again.
