Absolutely Everything I Ate At The Disneyland Resort
During our recent 4-day adventure at the Disneyland Resort, my sister and I set out on a mission: to taste our way through as many delicious Disney bites as possible. This year happens to be extra special—it’s Disneyland’s 70th anniversary—so we got to enjoy not only some classic must-try park favorites, but also special limited-time treats created just for the celebration.
In this post, I’ll share everything we ate, where you can find it, which items are part of the 70th anniversary lineup, and, most importantly, whether I think it’s worth adding to your own Disney food list.

Downtown Disney Eats 🛍️
Sip & Sonder
The Sparrow (Vanilla Dirty Chai Latte) at Sip & Sonder at Downtown Disney
Sip & Sonder is a walk-up coffee shop where you can find signature lattes, frozen drinks, and small bites on the west end of the Downtown Disney District. This is a must-do stop on my Downtown Disney days—usually on my travel day where I’m getting into the resort around mid-day, where I don’t want to buy a park ticket, but I want to walk and shop around the Disney bubble, and I need a pick-me-up after a morning of flying.
Here’s what I order at Sip & Sonder.
☕️The Sparrow (Vanilla Dirty Chai Latte) – A classic dirty chai, which is great when you need caffeine but don’t want to overdo it in the PM.
☕️A Serenade (Honey Lavender Latte) – For the girlies who love their coffee to taste like soap (we can all agree lavender tastes like soap), get this. Perfect for your last morning at the resort before you head home!

Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar
Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum, Skipper Sipper, and Kālua-style Pork Nacho Poutine at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar.
One fun thing about the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts is that all the Disney Resort Hotels are open for all guests to explore—not just guests staying at that resort hotel! Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is located in the resort pool area of the historic Disneyland Hotel! It’s a mysterious and adventurous tiki bar inspired by the world-famous Jungle Cruise. For ambiance, I love sitting outdoors where you feel like you’re truly in a tropical hideaway.
🍽️ Kālua-style Pork Nacho Poutine – We split this as a little lunch before our dinner reservation and it was chef’s kiss! The sweet potato fries with the sweet pork and pickled red onions was a combo I’m still thinking about!
🍹 Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum — A yummy option if you’re like coconut and cinnamon. Also, you get a fun little tiki keepsake with this beverage!
🍹 Skipper Sipper (non-alcoholic) — A refreshing non-alcoholic option for mint and lime lovers! Plus, it looks like a tropical fun drink!
🥪Korean-style Egg Sandwich (Breakfast) — I wanted to like this dish more. It came out a bit on the cold side, and taste-wise was more of a turkey sandwich with tasteless egg bread. I wouldn’t order it again.
🥞 Ube-stuffed French Toast (Breakfast) — This was a fun take on a traditional French toast. The bread was thick and tasty, but the ube was a little overwhelming. I did scrape some of the ube cream off the top since it was a lot, but it was delicious!

Céntrico
I know Din Tai Fung is thee restaurant to go to at Downtown Disney, but hear me out—Céntrico is my must-eat restraurant at Downtown Disney! Not only have I never had a plate I didn’t love hear, but it’s outdoor seating keeps you in the Disney bubble, literally seating you in the middle of Downtown Disney.
🥑 Chips & Salsa – A must-have at any Mexican restaurant, but you won’t want to skip on their chips & salsa or chips & guac. The standout here is the homemade chips that you know were made just minutes ago!
🌮 Quesabirrias — Quesabirria-lovers won’t want to skip on this dish! Dare I say it’s better than the Quesabirrias at Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill in Disney California Adventure… but it is. This did have a little too much cheese for me—like a lot of cheese—so I recommend ordering it with less cheese.
🍽️ Tlayuda Oaxacan Tostada — This was an interesting dish. The pork belly was smoked, which really left a smokey taste, so if you like that, you might like this dish.

Breakfast Chimichanga at the food cart outside of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Disneyland Eats 🎠
Buckle-up! Here’s what I ate at the Happiest Place on Earth!
🌯Breakfast Chimichanga (food cart outside of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad) — I was told to rope drop this once and never looked back! These sell out quick, so you’ll want to grab it in the first hour of the park being open. Definitely get one per person—you won’t want to share!
🍯Honey Cold Brew (Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree) – The honey cold foam on top was delicious, but I will always remain the fact that all Disney specialty coffee would be better if the cold brew base was less bitter. Definitely mix this after you snap a pic and before you sip it because bitter!
🍩Mickey-Shaped Beignets (Mint Julep Bar) – These are a must-do when visiting Disneyland! They’re airy and delicious, and not too filling. Just be sure to shake the bag before you partake!

Breakfast Cheesy Pretzel and Cookie Croissant at Maurice’s Treats
🥖 Breakfast Cheesy Pretzel (Maurice's Treats) — If you’re a fan of the regular Garlic Cheesey Pretzel Bread then you’ll like this! The sauce almost had a biscuits and gravy taste. This was delicious and filling for breakfast!
🥐Cookie Croissant (Maurice's Treats) — If you’re a fan of palmiers, you’ll love this! It tasted less like a croissant than I expected, but it was still so, so good. (We got it twice!) It also sticks to your teeth, so be warned.
🍑Peach Lemonade with Peach Rings (Harbour Galley) – This was so yummy and refreshing. If you like peaches, you’ll love this. But be warned—use a straw! I sipped the side and inhaled the chili-lime on the rim and legit nearly died.
Snack Size Monte Cristo and Buffalo Chicken Beignet Slider from Royal Street Veranda
Beef Birria Toasted Cheese and Tomato Basil Soup at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe
🥪 Snack Size Monte Cristo (Royal Street Veranda) — The taste of this was good, but it was really sweet with the dough on the outside of the sandwich. It was almost too sweet.
🍔 Buffalo Chicken Beignet Slider (Royal Street Veranda) — This was so so so good! I loved that the buns of the slider were a beignet. The buffalo chicken was spicy, and I’m usually a spice queen, but this one kind of got me.
🥪 Beef Birria Toasted Cheese (Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe) – If you love birria and dipping you’re sandwich, this is a yummy seasonal warm option for when the sun has gone down and you want a warm dinner in the park.
🥣 Tomato Basil Soup (Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe) –Soup? At Disneyland? Yes. This is a must for me any time I’m at Disneyland.
Frozen Banana at a Mickey Ice Cream Bar
🥟 Char Siu Bao (The Tropical Hideaway) — This was a tasty little bao. It’s not filling by any means but is a great snack!
🍖 Grilled Tahitian Ribs (Bengal Barbecue) — This seasonal meal is gonna be a pass for me. While the rib tasted good, it was wayyyy too little meat and the sides were just therey—you didn’t really want to eat it. For $20, I’d save your money and eat somewhere else.
🍍 Pineapple DOLE Whip (The Tropical Hideaway) — This is warm and gooey and absolutely delicious to eat when the sun goes down!

Strawberry Shortcake Macaron at Jolly Holiday
Celebration Matterhorn Macaroon at Jolly Holiday
🍰 Strawberry Shortcake Macaron (Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe) — This 70th Celebration treat is so photogenic and cute, but it was not something I loved. The strawberry shortcake was good, but dry, and the buttercream was a little much.
🧁 Celebration Matterhorn Macaroon (Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe) — This gets 10/10 for cuteness and tastiness! It’s really dense so I couldn’t eat it all in one sitting, but I’m not sad about that.
🥨 Cinnamon Roll Pretzel (Refreshment Corner) — This is warm and gooey and absolutely delicious to eat when the sun goes down!

Disney California Adventure Eats 🎡
Everything I ate at Disney California Adventure:
🧇 French Toast Sticks (Smokejumpers Grill) — These are classic French toast sticks that will take you back to breakfast in elementary school. They are extra crispy on the outside and I’d definitely order them again!
🍔 Breakfast Sandwich (Smokejumpers Grill) – This was surprisingly delicious! The hashbrown in the middle made this hearty and gave it a nice texture. The sauce was smoky but breakfasty!

Passion Fruit-Orange-Guava Punch at Lucky Fortune Cookery
🧃Passion Fruit-Orange-Guava Punch
(Lucky Fortune Cookery) — This was so so so good! I sipped it so slow to make it last longer. It’s really refreshing and not to thick (like concentrated juice). I’d recommend for a hot afternoon!
🍗 Jumbo Smoked Turkey Leg (Poultry Palace) – If you haven’t tried Disney’s turkey legs, you have to at least once. They taste more like ham, but are so juicy and delicious. Just know—you likely won’t be able to finish it.
🌽 Buttered Corn on the Cob (Poultry Palace) — Nothing to write home about, but it’s a decent corn on the cob to have on the side. The chili lime corn on the cob is more flavorful.
🍞 Sourdough Mickey (Aunt Cass Café) — A must-get anytime you visit DCA! I like to get it before going back to my hotel and eating it throughout the rest of my trip. Just grab enough butter and a plastic fork along with it!

Quick Disney Food Tips 🥨
A few food tips to make your next Disney trip more delicious:
Make A Food Wishlist — Come with a plan! A few weeks before your trip, scour the internet for Disney food guides or even browse the Disneyland of Walt Disney World app to see what you want to try during your trip. Extra Tip: Start a mobile order to see images of everything on the menu.
Share What You Can — If you’re visiting the parks with a friend or relative, ask if they’d like to split the item you’re interested in. This will help you save room in your tummy and save money in your wallet!
Mobile Order, Mobile Order, Mobile Order — If you can mobile order, mobile order. Time is alreay sacred at the parks, so save time by mobile ordering ahead of time. You’ll be able to skip the line, plus you don’t get charged unless you actually pick up your food, so you’re running no risk of being charged for something you change your mind about.
Come Prepared — If you’re a sensitive tummy girlie like me, you might want to come prepared with a few things to keep your tummy happy and keep you regular. This is what I always bring with me:
Whether you’re visiting during the anniversary celebration or just planning your next trip, remember: the best Disney food isn’t just about taste—it’s about the memories you make while enjoying it. Now, the real question is… what should we eat on our next trip?
