Everything I Ate at the Universal Orlando Resort

One of my favorite parts of any trip—besides the rides and magic—is the food. During my latest visit to Universal Orlando Resort, I made it my mission to try as many fun and themed eats as I could across the parks, including the brand-new Epic Universe. From Butterbeer everything to viral ube pizza, here’s my honest review of every bite I had!

Butterbeer Crepe – Café L'air De La Sirène (Epic Universe)

🧈 Butterbeer Crepe – Café L'air De La Sirène (Epic Universe)

This was actually my first-ever Butterbeer experience—and wow, what an introduction! The Butterbeer Crepe was rich, creamy, and oh-so-sweet. It was delicious, but definitely a sugar bomb. I highly recommend sharing this one if you don’t want to go into a Butterbeer coma!

Mac and Cheese Cones – Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel (Isle of Berk, Epic Universe)

🧀 Mac and Cheese Cones – Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel (Isle of Berk, Epic Universe)

Hands down one of my favorites! These mac and cheese cones were hot, cheesy, and surprisingly filling. Comfort food in a cone—what more could you want? Absolutely recommend grabbing one of these while exploring the Isle of Berk.

🍕 Pizza Lunare & Brownie Eclipse – Pizza Moon (Epic Universe)

The viral Pizza Lunare totally lived up to the hype. It has a unique purple ube crust (yes, purple!) and is topped with roasted garlic béchamel, ricotta, pancetta, and garlic confit. The crust was pillowy soft, and the toppings were flavorful without being overpowering. Plus, the service at Pizza Moon was excellent. Definitely one of the more elevated theme park meals I’ve had.

I also ordered the Brownie Eclipse warm, gooey brownie that’s round, meaning every bite has that perfect edge piece texture? Genius. The Brownie Eclipse is rich, sharable, and totally worth saving room for.

✨ Beau Thé Bleu d’Occamy (Occamy Tea) – Bar Moonshine (Epic Universe)

Beau Thé Bleu d’Occamy before the special packet is added.

The "Beau Thé Bleu d'Occamy" is a non-alcoholic, color-changing drink served at Bar Moonshine in the Ministry of Magic area of Universal's Epic Universe theme park. It is a blue drink with a blueberry and/or grape flavor that transforms into a sparkling purple beverage when a special packet (resembling a sachet or cotton candy) is added.

This beautiful blue tea cocktail was magical to look at and fun to sip, but honestly, it was a bit too sweet for me. Still, the presentation and experience make it worth trying at least once.

❄️ Frozen Butterbeer – Butterbeer Cart (Hogsmeade)

A classic! I tried the Frozen Butterbeer this time, and it was sweet, creamy, and refreshing. But truthfully, I could only finish about half before it got too sweet for me. Perfect for a hot Florida afternoon though.

🐟 Fish & Chips – The Three Broomsticks (Hogsmeade)

Fish & Chips – The Three Broomsticks (Hogsmeade)

I was shocked by how good this was! The fish was crispy and not greasy, the fries were solid (especially for theme park fries), and—most importantly—I didn’t regret it after hopping on VelociCoaster right afterward. A win in my book!

🍳 English Breakfast – The Three Broomsticks (Hogsmeade)

A cozy and hearty breakfast! The croissant was just okay (standard grocery-store quality), but the potatoes were amazing. The grilled tomato and beans were surprisingly good, and even though the sausage was nothing special, the atmosphere made it one of my favorite meals. There’s just something magical about starting your day in the Wizarding World.

Enjoyed reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban while eating a traditional English Breakfast at The Three Broomsticks

Earl Grey ice cream with cookie crumbs

🍦 Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour – Diagon Alley

I finished my trip with a scoop of Earl Grey ice cream with cookie crumbs, and it was perfection. Florean Fortescue’s has so many unique flavors to try, but fair warning—ice cream melts fast in the Florida heat, so eat quickly!

Shrekzel – Swamp Snacks (DreamWorks Land)

💚 Shrekzel – Swamp Snacks (DreamWorks Land)

Sadly… a miss. The pretzel itself wasn’t great, and I just couldn’t get past the green cheese dip. The Shrekzel was a no from me—gross, gross, gross.

🥗 I Heart Vegan – Today Café (Universal Studios)

This sandwich looked fresh and felt like a nice lighter option. Unfortunately, the wait was long, and my food came out a bit cold. Still, it was flavorful and packed with veggies. Not bad if you’re craving something on the healthier side, but not a must-try.

🌟 Final Thoughts

If I had to pick, Epic Universe definitely had the best food overall—creative, high-quality, and full of fun surprises. The rest of the parks offered your classic theme park fare, but the Wizarding World made every bite feel like part of the story.

From magical Butterbeer to viral purple pizza, Universal Orlando Resort truly has something for every kind of foodie adventurer.
