Everything I Ate at Disneyland During the Holidays

This year, I finally experienced my first-ever Disneyland holiday season, and let me tell you—between the decorations, the entertainment, and yes, the food, it felt like stepping straight into a Christmas card. I came ready to taste my way through the parks, and Disneyland did not disappoint.

Here’s everything I ate during my trip and all the things I think you need to add to your holiday must-try list. 🥨

🍫 Churro Toffee — Wonderful World of Sweets (Downtown Disney)

I had to start strong—and nothing hits quite like a piece of Churro Toffee. You can find it at the Wonderful World of Sweets in Downtown Disney, and honestly, this treat has my heart year-round. It’s crunchy, sweet, perfectly coated in cinnamon sugar, and an absolute must-do snack whether you're visiting for the holidays or not.

🌯 Breakfast Chimichanga — Food Cart by Big Thunder Mountain

This was high on my holiday wish list, and I committed so hard that I literally rope-dropped a chimichanga. Yes, it’s that serious. These breakfast chimis sell out quickly, and for good reason—warm, savory, hearty, and borderline addictive. Make sure to grab the chili verde sauce, because it takes the whole experience to the next level.

🧃 Cranberry-Pomegranate Mint Julep — Mint Julep Bar

This seasonal Mint Julep tasted like the holidays wrapped up in one refreshing sip. It was fruity, festive, and honestly gave me the feeling of visiting with family during the holidays. Light, bright, and a gorgeous twist on the classic Disneyland drink—holiday perfection.

🍩 Peppermint Mickey-Shaped Beignets — Mint Julep Bar

You can’t visit Disneyland without beignets, and during the holidays they get a peppermint makeover. These Mickey-shaped beauties were so delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised that the peppermint flavor wasn’t overpowering at all. I did make one crucial mistake though…
I forgot to order the whipped chocolate-peppermint dipping sauce. Learn from me and do not miss out on that add-on!

☕️ Holiday Cookie Cold Brew — Troubadour Tavern

Let me be honest: I usually skip Disney cold brews because they tend to be too bitter for me. So I wasn’t expecting to love this—but I was proven very wrong. The Holiday Cookie Cold Brew was sweet, creamy, and topped with the most delicious, chewy sugar cookie. I may or may not have let half the cookie fall into the cup so I could sip up little cookie chunks with every drink.

It was so good, I went back the next day for another one.

🍪 Mickey Gingerbread

If there’s one bakery item that completely stole my heart this trip, it was the Mickey Gingerbread cookie. These cookies are so adorable that you’ll hesitate before taking that first bite…but once you do, all hesitation disappears.
They’re soft, chewy, perfectly spiced, and genuinely one of the best things I ate my entire trip. These sell out fast, so if you want one, hop on your phone at 7:00am sharp to secure a mobile order. Trust me—it’s worth the effort.

🍪 Gingerbread Cookies — Harbour Galley

While these aren’t as cute as the Mickey version, they make up for it by being warm, fresh-baked, and ridiculously delicious. There’s something extra cozy about eating warm gingerbread by the water in Disneyland during the holidays.

☕️ Snickerdoodle Cold Brews — Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree

The Holiday Cookie Cold Brew at Troubadour Tavern was sweet, creamy, and topped with the most delicious, chewy sugar cookie. I may or may not have let half the cookie fall into the cup so I could sip up little cookie chunks with every drink. It was so good, I went back the next day for another one.

🥨 Classic Mickey Pretzel

It’s not a Disneyland trip without a Mickey Pretzel. Grab one. Get the plastic cheese. Enjoy every salty, goofy-shaped bite. While it’s not life-changing on its own, if you do want a truly life-changing pretzel experience, let me point you toward the Cinnamon Roll Pretzel at Refreshment Corner (not pictured but unforgettable). Add that to your list—you can thank me later.
